Orlando, FL, USA – May 14th, 2009 9AM EST – The Enzian Theatre Monthly Film-Slam will be screening the first peek of a 2009 United Arts Professional Development Grant, with a making-of video for Elizabeth Anne’s “THE HOOK”. “The Making of a Grant Project OR: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The HOOK” will screen Sunday, May 17th as part of the May Film-Slam Program (beginning at 1PM EST).

Elizabeth is currently performing, directing and producing the short-film/music-video with a social-conscious-message for Hip-Hop, involving local Orlando filmmakers, musicians and artists. Principal photography is being shot by Soreyrith Um, Blake Bickerstaff, David Bermejo, Jen Vargas and Jon Anderson. Locations include The Maitland Arts Center, Culture Mart and Downtown Orlando, with shoots tentatively scheduled for The Well’s Built Museum, Ethos Vegan Kitchen and Joe Blasco Orlando Makeup School (Rick Gonzales Studios).

A final version of the video is scheduled to screen at the Enzian Film-Slam in Maitland November 8th 2009, for awareness of the Zulu Nation Hip-Hop History Month in November of 2009. The project was awarded the 2009 Professional Development Grant in Media/Film by United Arts of Central Florida in January.
