Diversity Adversity
(in the current sea)
Verse 1
Crime has become relevant in recent generations distinguished by melanin wondering why
One would ever consider themselves the rudest, radical racist, yet the vaguest thought
Corrupts within, who may say there are dreamers but they are not the only ones
Who hope someday we can no longer envision US or THEM, but merely WE
Through what seed has grown more than the sum of it’s unequal parts
If EACH originated from the ONE then WHO truly are the children of the SON
How we BREED such attitude continuously as we cut one another each bleed
What has been READ from time indefinite, we BABEL on the words to precedent
Our intent to one another let no man put asunder, even though to whom we plunder
Against each other we are not just, CASH is to ashes, lives to dust, burning much more
Devotion to greed and lust, much less faith in common cents, larcenists react as they must
Our songs resonate praise
of wealth because it’s the only remaining NOTE IN GOD WE TRUST

Chorus1
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
We’re either slave or slave master, never faster than the drumming
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Who is at fault for all the crime, the hatred, corruption and slumming?

Diversity Adversity
Along the current sea we swim in, we still strive to taste the honey
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
If the haves lived like the have-nots, the shit would not be funny

Verse2
The world does not revolve simply because of money
  - No, it’s certainly not simple
In argument of location to zone to skin tone
We are crowded yet somehow alone
The wind still whispers within the sound that hung
From ropes above the ground upon which
High rises are now being built where once the homeless
Spent their winter, the earth’s orbital
Design will eventually splinter from the consequence of any season
NOW is the reason of our discontent, all those resources spent to benefit a higher class
No thank you, I’ll pass…  “Evolution” my ass

Chorus2
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Were either slave or slave master, never faster than the drumming
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Who is at fault for all the crime, the hatred, corruption and slumming?

Diversity Adversity
The planet spins in revolution, soil toils not for seeking blame
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
The effects of our dissent damage our nature just the same

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
When my world revolved within my pocket, the skies were always sunny
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
When the capital didn’t circulate, oh my view was always crummy

Diversity Adversity
If you’re WHITE the sky’s the limit, if you’re BLACK the limit’s the sky?
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
While some RICH may know no boundary, the POOR still know not why

Bridge
WHY confusion with no retribution other than the VIOLENCE statistics state
WHY miscommunication without representation erase affiliations for our debate
WHY to liberate, from what hate, affects our neighborhoods at an alarming rate
WHY such Alien Nation over who’s paying Illegal Immigration the government hides
WHY racial Patriots unite against genocide, cannot communicate with opposing sides
RACE against rapid current of emotions flowing through difficult narrow channels
WHY through the course of one’s religion must we seek the leaders for our panels
RACE contention targeting progression toward objective election soars
WHY so many heritages debate their place within natural selection’s course
WHY each group desire similar goals of higher protection for our own peace
RACE with separate choice to initiate how to instigate proper release
WHILE EYE don’t agree with what you’re saying, I still defend your right to say it
But when you come stomping down on our streets you’ll remember how we play it

Final Chorus

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
We’re either slave or slave master, never faster than the drumming
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Who is at fault for all the crime, the hatred, corruption and slumming?

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY

Along the current sea we swim in, we still strive to taste the honey
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
If the haves lived like the have-nots, YO the shit would not be funny

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
The planet spins in revolution, soil toils not for seeking blame
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
The effects of our dissent damage our nature just the same

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
When my world revolved within my pocket, the skies were always sunny
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
When the capital didn’t circulate, oh my view was always crummy

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Those who carry The Current Sea, protect the place to which it’s flowing
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
Dissention among different mention, the real reason they’re not showing

Diversity Adversity
If you’re WHITE the sky’s the limit, if you’re BLACK the limit’s the sky? NO -
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
While some RICH may know no boundary, the POOR still know not why

It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY

We are at WAR with one another, COMPETING LINEAGE ONGOING
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY

For who will control and who will DEFEND the positions they keep growing

Diversity Adversity
We’re being led to conclude that we are separate from the ONE
It’s not the RACE it’s the MONEY
We’re either slave or slave master, forever passing on the drum
