SYNOPSIS
Born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in Brooklyn, New York,
he currently captivates and motivates the art scene in Orlando, FL USA.
His presence and influence have made a major impact on the community surrounding him.
Cousin of baseball legend Reggie Jackson and grandson of renowned
Puerto Rican painter Carlos Jackson, Palin began to forge his own
legacy when he opened the first Latino-owned art gallery in the greater
Cleveland metropolitan area, 'La Cosecha' (The Harvest) in 2002.
His work has been featured in London, Rome and galleries across USA,
(Los Angeles, San Diego, Detroit, Philadelphia, Chicago, Worcester,
Brooklyn, Cleveland, Orlando). Always the 'proud trailblazing
entrepreneur', he recently opened The Redhook Gallery in Orlando , FL.
Palin's paintings are a record of his life, dreams, sensual obsessions
and the horrific past incidents that haunt him. Rather than allowing those
experiences to absorb or destroy him, he uses them to fuel his brush.
He paints nightly at live art events; a venture that inspired production
for a feature-length DVD, scheduled for release in 2008.
